Detail Info
How do you guys detail your 8th Gens?
Product?
Order?
Time?
I know that detailing can get pretty expensive if you use good product. I have been using Meguires for a minute but I know there are others.

RE: Detail Info
I use a very ride array of products at the moment testing things out to find what I like best. Favorite brand would be meguiars and I like a bunch of their stuff.

Steps? Ready for this? :D

-First I give MY car a quick rinse with water to remove any loose dirt and whatever I can get off.

-Then I fill two buckets with clean water, one is used as rinse water and one is my car soap (4.5 oz of meguiars gold class) and put a grit guard in each one.

-Than I take a meguiars microfiber wash mitt and soak up some suds, starting from the top wash down using very gentile strokes and rinsing out my wash mitt frequently in the rinse bucket and getting fresh suds.

-After a final rinse using the flooding method I dry with waffle weave micro fiber towels gently gliding them across the paint and use the blower from my vac to blow the water out of the cracks.

Wheels and wells is another method, than I clean the engine, door jambs, clay, polish, wax.

Then clean the interior vac the carpets & seats, every so often shampoo them and dress all plastic and clean the glass. Depending on if I want to finish early or not changes how long it takes me Smile

RE: Detail Info
I use the two bucket method...then I use claybar...the I do claybar again...quick rinse...Scratch X.....then I use Klasse AIO wax. I do 2 body panels at a time then buff off w/ a DA (do doors and door jambs when inbetween buffs). Then after that I use Klasse super high gloss...and take my time on that....
