Thumbs Up Supercharger? Or Turbo? Let me tell you the ANSWER.
FUCKIN SUPERCHARGER!

Quit the bullshit, and just get a damn supercharger.

Now if your a hard head motherbanger, and you wanna get your head tied up in a mess, and you like getting pimples from stress...
Im not stopping you, nor is the guy your buying the turbo from..

But to tell you frankly, the maintaince in the turbo is for someone who ethier works at a shop with cars, or has alot of money in his wallet that wont ever go broke even if a part would cost 800 to replace, or for a retune.

Yes my supercharger does create alot of heat, and yes it will drain the life of the motor as time goes on, but thats just the same as any person with a turbocharged 4cylinder.

Just fuckin do it!

no offense man, but that shifting needs a lil improvement.

I'm looking at a Vortech SC kit for the G with intercooler.

I did it on purpose man, so that you can top end 2nd gear next to the camera. If you see the other pics, you'll understand why I did that.. I wanted the camera to hear all of it, not the lowend.

I'm not sure what question your trying to answer? Any large motor mod involving f/I will cost money up front and over time. Parts will need to be replaced or repaired. I like turbos better because it's all about "FREE POWER"
One thing a SC will never give. It's just my two cent's Thumb

I disagree. I feel a supercharger is better for someone who just wants to bolton and not have to worry about it.

Userfriendly.

RE: Supercharger? Or Turbo? Let me tell you the ANSWER.
low psi boost of a turbo is user friendly too....high psi for more advanced users.

There's a guy around here w/ a EK 5 spd with 8psi turbo on it. he's put over 100k miles on it w/ the turbo running exactly 8-8.2psi and had no problems at all.

Yeah.....no

A supercharger and a low boost turbocharger have zero difference in terms of how long your engine will last.
Think about it, if they both put out 8-10psi, its not going to matter to the engine how its getting the pressure, its just getting it.

The reason most people would run a supercharger is because its cheaper to run one at 8-10lbs than it would be to buy a turbo setup. However if you want to put hair on your chest, step up and run over that, then your going to have to turbo a 4-cylinder. And if your going to run over 8-10lbs then your going to have to pay to play man.

Does that make any sense?

RE: Supercharger? Or Turbo? Let me tell you the ANSWER.
I am running a T3-T-04 on Flashpro on 6lbs of boost making 272 at the wheels. I love it. I got ripped off by a shop, but other than that hassle the actual tuning/mod was easy as pie. Superchargers for 4cylinders is just dumb...if you want a blower get a pushrod v8 and be done with it.
